For a while I have tried to add links, status updates and other content to this site, besides my normal blog posts and poems. I have decided to end that. It is too cumbersome. Granted, the software I use for my blog, WordPress, does provide some nice features for adding other types of content. And it is nice to have all my own content in one place. But adding links, images and updates to blog posts and poems makes for a pretty confusing expierence, I think.

Also, I noticed that in another way I am making it too easy for myself: I write less and I am content with adding just a simple link. That’s not what I set out to do with this site. So, back to blogging it is. And if that means I post less, then maybe it is because I have less to say.

By the way, the links are still there, but in a slightly different manner. See the list at the right side on the homepage of this site. Want more links? You can also go directly to my list with bookmarks at vanelkonline.nl.

Update, January 20, 2013: after toying with several solutions (social bookmarking, Tumblr, etc.) I am giving it another try and will keep adding links here. The links I put on my Tumblr I have imported here.
